Music Industry Development

**Please note that the Artist Development, Marketing and Sound Recording components are closed for the fiscal year (ending March 31, 2024). Updated guidelines and application forms for projects taking place between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 will be available in March.

WHAT IS THE MID PROGRAM?

The Music Industry Development Program (MID) is designed to foster the development and growth of the music industry in New Brunswick through investment in projects submitted by New Brunswick music industry artists and businesses. Music·Musique NB oversees the investment program on behalf of the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture.

There are six components:

   ARTIST DEVELOPMENT 
   LIVE PERFORMANCE 
   MARKETING 
   PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND BUSINESS TRAVEL 
   SHOWCASE 
   SOUND RECORDING

WHO CAN APPLY?

Musicians, music industry professionals and businesses. Do you pay taxes in New Brunswick? If so, you are probably eligible for the program!

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF MUSIC·MUSIQUE NB TO APPLY?
